It is the common practice in Buddhism and the Zen tradition to explain, teach about and give expression to the Dharma, or the teachings of Buddhism, in lectures and discussions.

Reflections On the Life and Practice of Reverend Master Jiyu-Kennett (55min.) Over the weekend of November 4-6, 2016, Shasta Abbey celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Rev. Master Jiyu’s death. Rev. Master Haryo offered the Dharma Talk reflecting on some aspects of practicing with Reverend Master Jiyu. This talk also contains some helpful discussion on our practice of meditation.

The Wave (17 min. Given at Shasta Abbey on September 27th , 2012.) This talk was given this fall during a retreat, the theme of which was Preceptual Communications. The talk was given during formal meditation, the recommended setting for listening to it.

Bird In A Cage, parts one and two. (49 Min. Given in May 2005 on two successive days.) This is another talk given during formal meditation, the recommended setting for listening to it.
